With funding from United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and as part of the protection and livelihood support project activities "Safe Space for Women and Girls", HUMAN ACCESS carried out a number of activities in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Marib.
Supporting women in Yemen and providing them with economic opportunities is the goal, believing that women should be enabled to accomplish their dreams and reach their goals.
In the city of Seiyun, Wadi Hadhramaut, the safe space met with the community-based protection committees and peer network and discussed how previous plans, activities, and events were implemented in preparation for the coming period. The advancement of women and girls is linked to the advancement of society in general, so it is imperative that they are supported and protected, as well as that they realize their human rights.
Al-Jufaina safe space in Marib conducted a training course to build the capacities of beneficiaries of economic empowerment programs in the field of project management and marketing skills to help them earn a living and provide for their families.
In Al-Matar area, the space organized a group psychological support session on the month of Ramadan as an opportunity to seize goodness and strengthen family cohesion.
