In collaboration with the Foundation for Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), HUMAN ACCESS in Wadi Hadhramaut concluded a surgical camp project to perform eye cataract operations during the period from September 1 to October 5, 2021.
The project intended to control blindness of the people with cataract disease among the poorest categories of Al-Masila Al-Ahrar region and its surrounding areas in Wadi Hadhramaut. A medical team specialized in ophthalmology performed 100 surgeries to remove eye cataracts, benefiting 100 patients.
The project services included examination and surgeries to remove cataracts that cause blindness and dispense free of charge treatments. The project alleviated the pain of poor patients in need of surgical interventions, in addition to providing free health services.
