HUMAN ACCESS in Wadi Hadhramaut concluded a training course on infection control for 15 workers in the maternity and maternity department of Tarim General Hospital, Tarim District, as part of the activities of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In the two-day training course, trainees learned about infection, its dangers, ways to prevent infection, and how to combat it to ensure patient and health worker safety.
People's lives are affected greatly by healthcare-associated infections, making infection prevention essential to a healthier future.
