HUMAN ACCESS in Wadi Hadhramaut organized a training course on episiotomy, targeting 17 female doctors, midwives, and nurses working in Tarim Hospital, Tarim district, as part of the activities of the project to support reproductive health services funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The course aims to provide the beneficiaries with knowledge and skills on episiotomy, a surgical intervention used in various deliveries to avoid tearing the perineum.
Training workers in the field of obstetric emergencies would provide better services and protect mothers and newborns from almost completely preventable risks.
