In observance of Pink October, the global breast cancer awareness month, HUMAN ACCESS in Hadramout Governorate organized a health awareness initiative targeting female inmates at Mukalla Central Prison, with funding from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The initiative focused on raising health literacy among inmates and promoting a proactive culture of self-prevention through educational guidance on breast cancer. Additionally, a specialized medical team—in collaboration with the Hadramout Cancer Foundation—conducted free clinical examinations and medical screenings for the targeted inmates.
