Funded by “Sheikh Abdullah Nouri Charity Society” in the sisterly State of Kuwait, signing of a memorandum of understanding to carry out the Free Medical Ophthalmic Camp in Mukalla

Funded by the Sheikh Abdullah Nouri Charity Society in the sisterly State of Kuwait, HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the German Ophthalmology Center in Mukalla, so to establish and execute the free medical ophthalmic camp, to conduct whitewater surgeries along with lens planting.
The Agreement was signed by Dr. Taqwa Bazanpour, Director of The Health Sector in Mukalla, on behalf of HUMAN ACCESS, and Mr. Fahmy Al Nahdi, Director of Marketing, on behalf of the German Ophthalmology Center.
In accordance with the Agreement, the camp will be carried out at the German Ophthalmology Center, under the supervision of a group of consultants and ophthalmologists, where it will target 500 cases at the screening phase, and 200 surgeries will be conducted for the patients that will be selected by the supervisory committee mainly those who require immediate surgeries and those most vulnerable.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Amin Barziq, Hadramout Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, Mr. Saeed Al-Khamer, Secretary-General of HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla, Dr. Amr Abdul Aziz Hamza, the German Center Technical Director, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Hadri, Executive Director of HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla.
