Training program to enhance reproductive health concepts for people with special needs
HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate launched a training program in the city of Mukalla entitled "Enhancing Reproductive Health Concepts for People with Special Needs", for 31 female trainees, including trainees with special needs and midwives in three health facilities (Mayfa’ Maternity and Childhood Center, Al-Dees Al-Sharqi Hospital, and Shahir Health Center), as part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The 3-day training program was launched in the presence of Ahmed Bazrous, Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Hadhramaut Coast, and Dr. Fatima Al-Aidaroos, Director of the Reproductive Health Department at the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office.
This training aims to provide health personnel with more skills and knowledge on caring for people with special needs and to emphasize the right of these individuals to access reproductive health services that are comprehensive and effective, as they are fundamental and essential human rights as well.
