In the presence of Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout bin Madi, HUMAN ACCESS signed an agreement with the local authorities in Mukalla to implement a project to build a medical unit in the Mayfa'a al-Sufal area (the Kuwait Health Center), in Broom Mayfa'a District. The project is funded by the Sheikh Abdullah al-Nouri Charitable Society - Kuwait.

The project represents the nucleus of a future hospital in the region. The medical unit's services will reach more than 20,000 people. The signed agreement involves the completion of all construction work for the health unit and the provision of the necessary medical equipment and supplies to deliver high-quality medical services within ten months.

The building will cover an area of ​​380 square meters and consist of two floors. Services will include general clinics, obstetric emergency departments, primary care, emergency, maternal and child health, laboratory and pharmacy services, and reception and waiting areas. The new health unit will have a capacity of 35 beds, which can be expanded.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Amin Barzaiq, the Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in the Hadhramaut Coast, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jumahi, the Director General of the Legal Affairs Office, Salem Kunaid, and the Director General of the Broom Mayfa’a District, Dr. Khaled Al-Juhi.
