
With funding from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), HUMAN ACCESS in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, awarded economic empowerment toolkits in the fields of sewing and hairdressing to 15 women benefiting from vocational training. These toolkits are part of the Girls' Protection and Empowerment Through Entrepreneurial Approach program.
The distribution process was attended by Ahmed Badrous, Director General of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Hadhramaut Coast, and Khaled Balfas, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training Office.
The awarded economic empowerment toolkits include the basic supplies needed to begin practicing their careers, helping the women beneficiaries integrate into the labor market, achieve financial self-sufficiency for themselves and their families, and transform into productive families capable of facing the challenges and deteriorating living conditions in Yemen.
