The safe space for women and girls, operated by HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate, received the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Yemen, Ms. Inshrah Ahmed, who, along with her accompanying delegation, was briefed on the progress of activities aimed at protecting and promoting women’s human rights.
Ms. Inshrah praised the efforts and wished for more endeavors and creativity to support and protect the most vulnerable women.
HUMAN ACCESS implements the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”, funded by UNFPA and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to address issues related to gender-based violence and women’s rights, enhance women’s role in the economic arena, and other life-saving services to make a positive and sustainable impact on society.
