In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), HUMAN ACCESS in Aden Governorate carried out various purposeful activities within the context of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls.”

Using these activities, women will be informed about a variety of important issues and given the skills necessary to launch their own projects and become self-sufficient.

In preparation for their involvement in the labor market and earning a living, the association launched a training program in the field of sewing for 12 women to provide them with the skills of this income-generating craft.

There were also two awareness sessions at the safe space, the first of which focused on communication skills, which is important in our daily lives and plays an important part in creating and maintaining healthy, effective relationships.

Children's needs and the impact of separation on children were the topics of the second session in order to increase community awareness about interacting with children and raising them in a healthy and positive way and the importance of maintaining family cohesion.
