HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut and Marib governorates organized a number of events within the activities of the Protection and Livelihood Support Project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In Seiyun, an awareness session was conducted for 66 women on family stability. The activity involved a number of important points related to family stability, how to achieve it, the damages resulting from family disintegration, and its impact on the psyche of children.
In Marib, a festive event was held in Al Wadi District on the occasion of the International Day of Osteoporosis, which falls on October 20 of each year, meant to shed light on osteoporosis and to educate women about the need to maintain healthy and strong bones.
In the same district, the Safe Space for Women and Girls visited the National Rapid Response Corporation and Doctors Without Borders to discuss the services provided by the two agencies and to agree on a referral system for protection.
In the same context, the safe space in Al Mujamma’ neighborhood participated in the women's market by displaying the products of women and girls who benefit from economic empowerment in the space in the various corners of the market in order to equip them with marketing life skills and promote their products.
