HUMAN ACCESS in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Marib organized a training course for a number of women and a community peer network meeting, as part of the activities of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Toward this end, 25 target women in Seiyun, Wadi Hadhramaut, participated in a financial marketing course focused on sewing, tailoring, and baking sweets and pastries, with the objective of giving the beneficiaries the skills in financial marketing they need to start their own businesses and engage in the labor market.
The fourth quarterly meeting of the community peer network was also held in the areas of Al-Rawda, Al-Sharika and Al-Mil camps in Marib to discuss the role of the project in providing services to women and girls during the current year and to come up with proposals and recommendations to improve performance.
At the end of the meeting, the network members were honored for their efforts in spreading community awareness.
