HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut and Marib governorates carried out awareness-raising activities within the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), as one of the major qualitative projects that address the impact of the Yemeni crisis on women and girls in the country.
In this context, the safe space in Mukalla, Hadhramaut, conducted an outreach campaign within the awareness program regarding electronic extortion and how to prevent it, in collaboration with the Security Department and Mukalla Office of Education, to ensure women are aware of this dangerous phenomenon and avoid becoming victims of these crimes.
In Marib, the safe space in Al-Matar area organized a community awareness session, targeting a number of women visiting the space.
This session focused on the services provided by the safe space to women and girls, especially those impacted by humanitarian crises, to stand up for their rights and defend them.
