A team from the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) program at UNFPA visited the HUMAN ACCESS safe space in Dar Saad District, Aden Governorate, as part of a project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, financed by the Fund.
During the visit, the team received a presentation on the implementation of activities and services provided to women beneficiaries. These include psychosocial support, legal counseling, and life and vocational skills development, such as sewing, embroidery, hairdressing, and other programs aimed at boosting women's economic and social empowerment.
The visiting team commended the level of performance and the quality of services offered within the safe space, praising the efforts of the HUMAN ACCESS Association in providing a supportive and safe environment that helps empower women and girls and enhance their capabilities, which positively impacts their lives and their families.
