As part of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls" funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), HUMAN ACCESS in Aden and Marib governorates implemented awareness-raising activities on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated on October 10 of each year, to raise awareness of mental health issues.
In Aden, the safe space in Dar Saad district held an awareness-raising event to highlight the importance of mental health and its impact on individuals and society.
The event focused on three main pillars of mental health, including overcoming stress and tension, childhood disorders, and creative psychotherapy.
In Marib, the safe space in Al-Mujamma area organized an open day in a private garden for the space's female staff.
The open day featured a variety of recreational activities, symbolic prizes, and other activities to promote mental health in the workplace. This year marks World Mental Health Day, which emphasizes that supporting workers and improving working conditions leads to increased performance and prosperity.
