HUMAN ACCESS in Marib and Al-Mahra governorates carried out a number of activities and community awareness sessions within the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In Marib, a training course in the field of knitting and embroidery was concluded for a number of women and girls in Al-Wadi district, in preparation for their economic empowerment and improving their living conditions. A recreational and awareness activity was also carried out for 55 male and female students in the complex area on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, which falls on October 11 of each year.
In Al Jufaina camp in Marib, HUMAN ACCESS organized a training course in life, marketing and financial skills for 15 trainees on the sewing profession program for the fourth quarter of this year. The training plans to develop women's skills, qualify them in project management capabilities, market their products, and improve their financial skills.
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which falls on October 10 of each year, HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Mahra organized an awareness session at Al-Diriyah School entitled "My mental health is the basis of my happiness", targeting 220 female students.
