With the purpose of raising women's awareness of their rights, potential, and capabilities, HUMAN ACCESS conducted awareness-raising activities in Hadhramaut and Marib as part of a UNFPA-funded protection and livelihood support project, "Safe Space for Women and Girls".
In the city of Seiyun of Wadi Hadhramaut, the safe space organized an awareness session targeting 15 beneficiaries about the importance of time and its management.
The session also addressed the importance of women's employment to achieve themselves and their dreams and for a sustainable future, and the need to organize time between work and home.
In Marib city, the safe space conducted collective psychological support sessions for the HUMAN ACCES team in order to boost the psychological resilience of the team, overcome work environment obstacles, and promote positive thinking in light of the pressures of life and performance, so they could continue to provide important services.
The safe space in Al-Mujamma area organized an educational program under the title "Emotional Divorce", as part of the activities of the collective psychological support sessions.
According to the program, this type of common divorce can be devastating for the family if the spouses do not communicate and understand each other.
In Al-Matar area, the safe space carried out two awareness sessions targeting a number of visitors to the space. In the first session, space services were introduced, while in the second one, family planning was discussed, detailing the importance of the family as the nucleus of society and its importance in reaching a healthy society.
In Al-Jufaina safe space, 18 women participated in a group psychological support session titled "Facing Depression" as well as a community awareness campaign about the space's role in supporting women's employment rights and all that would allow them to launch their own businesses.
