HUMAN ACCESS implemented a number of diverse activities in Al-Jufaina IDP camp in Marib Governorate. These activities were part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen," funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), to offer increased protection for Yemeni women's basic rights.
The activities included distributing dignity kits to three women, containing essential supplies, especially for women. Eight community awareness sessions were also held, addressing several important issues, such as cyber-extortion, exploitation and harassment, and mental health and its relationship to physical health. These sessions aimed to improve awareness and educate women about their rights and issues.
The activities, furthermore, included providing legal consultations to 15 female beneficiaries, group psychological support to 200 girls in a public school, activities for children, receiving women visitors to the project management, and referral services to offer the necessary care and protection for the most vulnerable women and girls, among other important and purposeful activities.
