Between September 10 and 23, 2026, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 463 tents and 528 shelter kits across 13 camps in the Yemeni governorates of Aden, Hadhramaut, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwa. These supplies benefited 3,110 people displaced by recent events in the West Coast districts of Hodeidah and Taiz.

This initiative is part of the fifth phase of the emergency shelter plan project in Yemen, implemented in partnership with the HUMAN ACCESS Association.

Jamal Balfaqih, Advisor to the Minister of Local Administration and Head of the Higher Relief Committee in Yemen, commended the significant humanitarian role played by KSrelief in Yemen. He emphasized that the Center’s relief interventions have directly contributed to meeting the basic needs of displaced persons.

This aid is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief to assist the brotherly people of Yemen amidst the humanitarian crisis they are facing.
