Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Deputy Governor of Lahj, launched the distribution of 171 tents and 171 shelter kits in the Tuban District of Lahj. The initiative was attended by Omar Al‑Samati, Director of the Executive Unit for IDP Camp Management in Lahj, and was funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) through its implementing partner, the HUMAN ACCESS Association.

These tents and shelter kits—provided under the "Emergency Shelter Plan in Yemen – Phase 5" project—benefit 171 families, totaling 1,026 individuals. These families were displaced by recent events from the districts of Maqbanah, Al‑Wazi'iyah, and Al‑Jarrahi, as well as areas along the West Coast.

The launch follows the completion of preparations to ready the tents for the beneficiary displaced families, who have begun moving into and settling in their assigned shelters following journeys of displacement and hardship in search of safety.

KSrelief continues its relief and humanitarian efforts in Yemen by implementing programs and projects in an effort to provide shelter and relief support to affected and displaced families, thereby alleviating their humanitarian suffering.
