In partnership with wefa WELTWEITER EINSATZ FŰR ARME - Turkey, 8,000 people benefited from Ramadan projects
HUMAN ACCESS implemented Ramadan charity projects for the year 1443 AH/ 2022 AD presented by wefa WELTWEITER EINSATZ FŰR ARME - Turkey.
About 8,000 people benefited from it in the governorates of Shabwa, Taiz, Hadramawt, Marib, and Al-Jawf; with the aim of covering the needs of poor, displaced and poor families, and alleviating their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan.
Mr. Riyad Muhammad, Executive Director of Humanitarian Access, explained that these services consisted of distributing Ramadan food baskets, in Shabwa Governorate and the IDPs in Marib, and included the distribution of Ramadan food baskets consisting of flour, rice, sugar, oil and dates, benefiting (650) poor families. In addition, 3,000 fasting meals were distributed in the governorate of Taiz, and the two districts of Mukalla and Seiyun (Hadhramaut Governorate), and in-kind alms were distributed to (100) IDP families in Al-Jawf Governorate.
In addition to distributing the Eid clothing, about (500) orphans benefited from it, Mr. Riyadh stressed the importance of these Ramadan charitable projects to improve people's access to food and meet their most urgent basic needs, in light of the difficult conditions that Yemen is experiencing, noting that the priority in distribution was for the most vulnerable, IDPs and affected groups.
Mr. Riyad extended his thanks and appreciation to wefa WELTWEITER EINSATZ FŰR ARME - Turkey, for its continuous support for the various projects and services implemented and provided by HUMAN ACCESS to poor, IDPs and affected families in all governorates of the Republic.
