HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with UNHCR, has held several and different legal and educational awareness sessions, targeting dozens of IDP individuals.

The first session targeted a number of IDP persons, in Al-Salam camp in Al-Madina Directorate, and touched on raising awareness about identification documents, their types, and the importance of obtaining them, to facilitate transactions and freedom of movement. Among the most important documents that the session touched on were the personal and family cards.

The second session targeted a number of IDP women in Al-Quoz camp in Al-Madina Directorate, and touched upon the most important rights that women enjoy according to Yemeni law, such as their right to informed consent to marriage, work, education, health, inheritance, protection, and freedom of expression.

The third session also targeted a number of IDP women in the city directorate, Al Mujamma neighborhood, and touched on marital rights, introducing the activities of the social center, and the services it provides to women and girls.

While the fourth session focused on community awareness for women in Al Majma neighborhood, the city directorate and was about social solidarity among community members and the criteria for emergency cash assistance.

The sessions also talked about the activities of the Social Center for the IDP of HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate, and the services provided by the Center to the IDPs.
