Funded by Sheikh Abdullah Nouri Charity – Kuwait, establishing the free Medical Ophthalmic Camp in Al-Mukalla
In collaboration with the German Ophthalmology Center in Al-Burj Hospital, HUMAN ACCESS carried out the free Surgical Ophthalmic Camp in Al-Mukalla to conduct cataracts surgeries.
Nearly 200 cases benefited from the Camp’s services consisting of examination, surgeries to remove blinding cataracts, and distribution of ophthalmological medicines. More Specifically, the medical team performed 53 successful surgeries to remove cataracts, of which there were no alike beforehand in Al-Mukalla.
Dr. Faizah Al-Amoudi, Deputy Director of the Health and Population Office, applauded the humanitarian efforts made by HUMAN ACCESS in setting up the camp and using the newest medical-technical devices and equipment, under the supervision of a group of counselors and doctors who are specialized in ophthalmology.
The Camp beneficiary patients expressed their appreciation and thanks for HUMAN ACCESS and Sheikh Abdullah Nouri Charity, as being the implementer and funder of the camp, which had a great impact in alleviating their suffering.
