Coinciding with the World Children’s Day, which falls on November 20 of each year, the protection and livelihood support project for women and girls, implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in partnership with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), organized a number of events and activities through the safe space for women and girls in Marib, Seiyun and Mukalla. A summary report is as follows:

Recreational and cultural program in Seiyun

The program targeted the children of Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Dumb for Basic Education, consisting of a number of recreational segments, cultural and intellectual competitions, in addition to face painting, and the distribution of gifts.

The program resulted in enhancing children's abilities to realize their own potential, highlighting their talents and creativity, and drawing a smile on the faces of beneficiaries.

Open day for children in Mukalla

40 boys and girls from Al-Dhiyaa and Banoun kindergartens were hosted. It involved a number of entertainment sections, competitions and gift distribution, in addition to presenting purposeful theatrical performances, and plastic drawings on children's faces.
