
A Dutch delegation, accompanied by Dr. Jean Paul, Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) office in Aden, visited the reproductive health services provided by HUMAN ACCESS at Al-Muzaffar General Hospital and the Yemeni Swedish Maternity and Child Hospital in Taiz Governorate.
This visit was part of the Reproductive Health Services Support Project, financed by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The visiting delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the nature of the reproductive health services provided for obstetric emergencies in the two hospitals covered by the project, in the presence of Dr. Fahd Al-Nazari, Director General of the Public Health and Population Office in Taiz, and Dr. Ahlam Al-Ramsi, Director of the Reproductive Health Department.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised the efforts made to improve access to reproductive health services for the most vulnerable groups and contribute to saving the lives of mothers and newborns during childbirth. The visiting delegation emphasized the importance of continuing and supporting these essential services to improve the health of families in Yemen.
