With funding from Japan and in partnership with UNHCR, HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate distributed vocational training kits in refrigeration and air conditioning, auto electrical work, and mobile phone repair to 45 young men and women from displacement camps. This followed their vocational training in these income-generating fields, as part of the integrated project activities.

During the handover, the Deputy Governor of Marib, Judge Abdullah Al-Bakri, praised these quality programs aimed at qualifying young men and women and empowering them with the necessary tools to create economic projects that meet the needs of the labor market. Mr. Shekelkam Shehu, Director of the UNHCR office in Marib, stressed the importance of vocational training and supporting business skills to improve the livelihoods and living standards of the most affected groups in Yemen.
