Conclusion of literacy course in Marib and delivery of economic empowerment grants for women
HUMAN ACCESS in Marib and Hadhramaut governorates continues to implement activities and programs within the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In this regard, the association held a closing ceremony for the 4-months literacy course, targeting 20 women in the airport area in Marib.
In the same area, a mobilization and advocacy session were held by the Peer Network team to raise awareness of issues related to gender and violence against women.
In Mukalla, Hadhramaut, economic empowerment grants for women and girls in the fields of tailoring and hairdressing were handed over to 14 beneficiaries. During the handover, HUMAN ACCESS urged the beneficiaries to make the most of these grants and develop their skills.
