In partnership with UNFPA, first quarterly meeting of community peers network members held in Mukalla
The management of the Safe Space for Women and Girls in Mukalla, affiliated to HUMAN ACCESS, organized a periodic meeting of the peer network (members of the protection committees) as part of the protection and livelihood support project funded by UNFPA. The meeting discussed various issues related to the work progress in the field, and their association with the HUMAN ACCESS team and the case management section in the safe space.
The main tasks of the committees’ work were also discussed, in addition to the importance of implementing awareness sessions that enhance other work aspects in the safe space.
The participants stressed the importance of direct communication with community members and focusing on those who are most in need of the safe services, submitting data to specialists, and coordinating among them.
