The HUMAN ACCESS Community Center for IDPs in Marib Governorate organized community awareness for 12 women at the headquarters of the Center on the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, with funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Breast cancer ranks first among the most common types of cancer. It is more likely to be detected early and recover quickly, which indicates the importance of raising awareness about the risks of the disease among women, and encouraging early detection and examination.
