The Community Center for IDPs of HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate organized 4 community and legal awareness sessions, targeting a number of displaced women with funding from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
These sessions are designed to increase the awareness of women about social and legal issues that are essential for their success as women in society and for them to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
In this context, two sessions were held in Al-Majamma neighborhood; the first was an awareness session among 10 women about violence against women, and the second was a legal awareness program about pensions, entitlements and distribution for displaced women.
In addition, ten women participated in a community awareness session on girls' education in Hosh Al-Jamaa camp, and in Al-Matar neighborhood, a legal awareness session was organized about inheritance, the legal and judicial protections available, and how to protect and access this right.
