Marib, Yemen | 6 October 2026:

Under the Integrated Food Security, Economic Empowerment, and Protection Project, HUMAN ACCESS and Deem for Development Organization—with support from Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA)—launched a three-day training programme on entrepreneurship and financial literacy in Marib, engaging 20 IDP and conflict-affected women.

The training programme aims to equip participants with key entrepreneurial skills and economic management tools, alongside essential financial literacy concepts designed to foster informed decision-making and sustainable livelihoods.

The opening day introduced foundational entrepreneurial concepts, examining the traits of effective women entrepreneurs, viable project selection techniques, and the primary growth drivers and hurdles associated with small projects development.

To maximize engagement and knowledge sharing, the training utilized interactive learning methodologies, including group discussions, collaborative brainstorming, and practical application exercises.

The Project aligns with broader project objectives to foster economic empowerment among displaced and vulnerable women, equipping them to develop viable, income-generating projects that drive self-sufficiency and sustainable livelihoods.

Over the coming two days, sessions will cover advanced topics in entrepreneurship and financial management, integrated with targeted practical application exercises aimed at consolidating participant learning and skill development.
