The child space, run by HUMAN ACCESS in Al-Wadi District of Marib Governorate, honored ten girl winners of the reading and writing competition by granting them gifts and prizes.

Symbolic gifts were also awarded to the rest of the girl participants in this unique competition during an honoring ceremony held on this occasion, which included various purposeful entertainment and awareness segments.

The competition intended to develop reading and writing skills and motivate and encourage children to read and write as a bridge to knowledge and a gateway to scientific, cultural, and intellectual growth.

The competition is part of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls", funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), to achieve comprehensive development in Yemen.
