HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate carried out awareness sessions, group psychological support and field visits under the umbrella of the protection and livelihood support project “Safe Space for Women and Girls”, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

The primary objective of the campaign is to address the crisis impact on Yemeni women, ensure their rights are respected, and promote community awareness and education.

In Al-Mujamma area, the safe space organized community awareness to introduce the space’s services and how to enhance self-confidence, in the presence of a number of female visitors to the space.

Additionally, five community and legal awareness sessions were held in Al-Jufaina to address the importance of obtaining identification documents, how to obtain personal cards, the space's response to gender-based violence victims, the impact of services on women, and the importance of self-confidence and breaking down fear barriers.

The safe space in Al-Matar area conducted five group psychological support sessions on psychological counseling, how to obtain it, and its importance in improving mental health, bipolar depression, psychological flexibility, self-confidence, and religious psychological support.

Three community and legal awareness sessions were also conducted by the space, which discussed space services for women and girls, registration and complaint mechanisms, the importance of a birth certificate for a child and how to obtain it, and the importance of personal hygiene, as well as a field visit to activate external referrals.
