A delegation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Aden Office visited the HUMAN ACCESS’s Community Centre in Marib, with a view of observing closely the activities of Protection Programmes implemented for IDP and the most vulnerable people of the host community.
The visit coincided with carrying out training sessions on gender-based violence, managing vulnerabilities, and legal and psychological aspects. This is aimed to build the capacities of social workers, and psychological, legal, and hotline specialists.
On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation met with some beneficiaries of the Community Center funded by the UNHCR. The visiting team also held a focused group discussion to learn about the quality of the services provided by the Centre in Marib.
The UNHCR delegation in Aden commended the services provided by the HUMAN ACCES’s Community Centre and expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Community Center Personnel.
