HUMAN ACCESS launched three vocational training courses to qualify and empower 30 women to enter the labor market and start their own businesses, thus contributing to improving their standard of living. This initiative is part of a project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
In Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, a training course in hairdressing and beauty was launched, targeting 16 women. In Marib Governorate, two training courses in sewing and tailoring were launched: the first in Al-Wadi District, targeting 7 women, and the second in Al-Rawda area and Al-Mil camps, targeting 7 displaced women and members of the host community.
