HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate concluded two training courses in sewing and tailoring, with the participation of 18 women trainees in Al-Jufaina camp for IDPs and Al-Rawda area. This was part of a project to provide livelihood services to the most vulnerable women and girls in Yemen, funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

This vocational training aims to help the affected women to engage in the labor market, transforming them into productive families who are self-reliant and live with dignity. At the end of the training, the women beneficiaries were honored with participation certificates, and examples of work carried out during the training period were presented, which reflected the trainees’ acquisition and mastery of this professional craft.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to HUMAN ACCESS and UNFPA for this humanitarian support and for giving them this opportunity to cope with unemployment and deteriorating living conditions, in light of the difficult living and economic challenges that Yemen is experiencing due to the ongoing conflict for more than a decade.
