HUMAN ACCESS held a workshop in the city of Mukalla on the role of government sectors, organizations and businessmen in achieving the indicators of the anti-female genital mutilation (FGM) project, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The workshop covered various topics, the most important of which are: reviewing the steps and stages of the project represented in enhancing national support to combat FGM, and engaging civil society, youth and policy makers in promoting community participation through outreach and media campaigns, home visits, and developing a number of integrative proposals.
