For the year 1444 AH - 2023, HUMAN ACCESS implemented Ramadan charity projects, which helped 299,174 people. The charity projects were undertaken by the organization during twenty days of Ramadan in collaboration with a number of donors, supporting agencies, and philanthropists to meet the fasting requirements for the most vulnerable groups in an effort to alleviate the suffering of needy and poor families during this month of fasting.

The Ramadan charity projects implemented in most of Yemen’s governorates contributed to helping the displaced, the needy and orphans.

These projects included distributing food baskets to 111,180 individuals, providing iftar (breakfast) meals to 89,354 individuals, delivering clothes and Eid gifts to 3,468 boys and girls, in addition to distributing dates to 78,216 people, and 16,956 individuals benefited from cash and in-kind assistance.

Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, HUMAN ACCESS Secretary-General, stated in a special statement that these projects touch the conditions and needs of people, and through them, it provides support to those in need with the highest levels of efficiency and reliability, based on its extensive experience in implementing Ramadan projects over many years.

Dr. Alwasea thanked everyone who contributed to the Ramadan charity projects this year, including donors, supporters, volunteers, and others.

The ongoing conflict in Yemen has taken a heavy toll on people's resilience. HUMAN ACCESS is therefore committed to implementing Ramadan projects every year as part of its unlimited humanitarian relief and support programs to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable and affected and to ease the burdens of families burdened by life's costs, particularly in light of the harsh conditions that the country has been experiencing for years.
