Funded by Diyanet and Hedayet associations, About (5000) families benefit from Ramadan charity projects during the first half of Ramadan in 11 Yemeni governorates
HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with Diynet and Hedayet societies, implemented Ramadan charity projects for the year 2021. These projects sought to contribute to alleviating the suffering of displaced, poor, and affected families, and the families of orphans during the first half of the blessed month of Ramadan.
In a press statement, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS, stated that about (5,000) families have benefited from the Ramadan charity projects offered by HUMAN ACCESS during the first half of Ramadan. He added that these services included the distribution of food baskets and fast breaking meals, and that these projects were implemented in partnership with the Hidayet Association, in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Taiz, Marib, Abyan, Al-Mahra and Aden. The Ramadan food baskets consisted of rice, sugar, cooking oil, dates, legumes and tuna cans, benefiting 3000 poor families.
In addition, HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with the Turkey Diyanet Foundation (TDV), distributed food baskets to (2000) poor families in the governorates of Hadramawt, Taiz, Marib, Ibb, and Shabwah, and the displaced in Marib governorate from (Sana'a and Amanat Al-Asimah). It also provided meals to feed the fasting, benefiting (4,200) individuals.
Alwasea indicated that HUMAN ACCESS has adopted the distribution in accordance with the requirements of public safety and precautionary and preventive measures to confront the Coronavirus. He also noted the importance of such projects in alleviating the suffering of the poor and needy during the days of Ramadan, strengthening the bonds of love and brotherhood among members of society, and an embodiment of the principle of social and human solidarity.
Dr. Alwasea extended his thanks and appreciation to the two Turkish associations, Diyanet and Hedayet, for their continuous support for the various projects and services they implement through the HUMAN ACCESS organization that targets the poor, displaced and affected people in all Yemeni governorates.
