Yemen is considered one of the poorest Arab countries. The ongoing war came and contributed to the increase in poverty and the suffering of the people greatly. In view of the increasing humanitarian needs throughout Yemen, HUMAN ACCESS, in partnership with Sadaqat Care, distributed food baskets, consisting of flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil and dates, in five governorates, benefiting about (21,000) individuals, representing (3,500) poor families.

In addition, HUMAN ACCESS provided 1000 fasting meals during the first ten days of Ramadan. These distributed materials contributed to meeting the urgent needs of food consumption by families suffering from poverty and food insecurity, and restoring smile and hope to poor and displaced families. It is worth noting that the distribution of food baskets was carried out in accordance with the precautions and preventive measures adopted to confront the outbreak of Coronavirus.
