During the first ten days of this holy month, 211,685 people benefited from the Ramadan charity projects for this year 1444 AH - 2023, which were implemented by HUMAN ACCESS in collaboration with many donor organizations and supporting bodies to meet the requirements of the month of fasting for the neediest groups, especially those who suffer from additional vulnerabilities such as the displaced and orphans.

The Ramadan charity projects implemented in most of Yemen's governorates created smiles on the faces of those who benefited from them.

The distribution included food baskets, iftar (breakfast) meals, zakat al-Fitr, clothing and Eid gifts, as well as dates to bring happiness to the hearts of the most vulnerable groups.

As part of his special statement, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasea, Secretary-General of HUMAN ACCESS, stressed the importance of Ramadan projects in alleviating poverty in the poor. He invited organizations, businessmen, and philanthropists to support these projects to provide Ramadan aid and help reach a larger number of the poor who have been deprived of Eid joy and Ramadan necessities as a result of war.

After more than eight years of conflict, Yemen is suffering from an acute food crisis and a major deterioration in living conditions, which has affected millions of people.

Furthermore, HUMAN ACCESS also implements Ramadan projects every year, which are critical to alleviating the escalating crises of vulnerable families and securing their basic and urgent needs during the holy month.
