With Amouda Association’s support, humanitarian interventions brimming with life and hope
Funded by the Amouda Association, and in the presence of its president, Ms. Gamza Ghoz Shalak, and her accompanying team, who are currently visiting Yemen, HUMAN ACESSS implemented a series of essential and vital interventions in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Marib. These interventions aimed to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable populations amidst one of the world's most challenging humanitarian crises.
In the city of Seiyun in Wadi Hadhramaut, various economic empowerment projects were awarded to 14 families of orphans. These projects aimed to offer a stable source of income to ensure a dignified life for the orphans. Additionally, clothing and toys were donated to 100 male and female orphans, bringing joy and happiness to these children.
In Marib, food and cash assistance was awarded to 700 families to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable and needy groups and improve their living conditions. Furthermore, 300 winter kits and 500 blankets were donated to protect vulnerable individuals from the harsh cold and health risks of winter.
In addition to distributing clothes and toys to 100 boy and girl orphans to bring joy to their hearts, the organization also handed over 55 wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs to help people with disabilities move around, access services, and improve their health. These wheelchairs will meet essential needs for this vulnerable group.
During her visit to Yemen, the head of the Amouda Association and her accompanying team visited some of the ongoing and previously implemented activities, including water distribution points in several displacement camps and the provision of life-saving basic health and nutrition services for children through the primary healthcare department at Kara General Hospital in Marib.
The head of the Amouda Association praised the pioneering efforts in implementing these important interventions, the positive impact of which has been felt by all beneficiaries. On its part, HUMAN ACCESS expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the Amouda Association for this ongoing humanitarian support to assist vulnerable and affected groups in Yemen.
