In partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), HUMAN ACCESS in Marib Governorate performed a number of activities as part of the “Safe Space for Women and Girls” protection and livelihood support project.
Among the key objectives of these activities are to increase community awareness, improve women's access to markets, allow them to fulfill their ambitions, and create a positive and sustainable impact on local communities.
Two awareness sessions were held at the safe space in Al-Matar area, addressing women's rights to education and the importance of enhancing their role within society.
As for the safe space in Al-Jufaina, it awarded 6 grants for economic empowerment projects in the manufacture of bags and leather goods, preparing the beneficiaries for employment and earning a livelihood.
An event took place in Wadi Marib to hand over 8 economic empowerment grants in the field of sewing and accessories manufacturing, attended by local authority leaders and social figures.
