On the occasion of the World Children's Day, which is celebrated on November 20 of each year, HUMAN ACCESS organization launched a wide range of activities in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Marib, within the framework of the protection and livelihood support project "Safe Space for Women and Girls" funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

In Al-Mahra, the safe space in Al-Ghaydah sponsored an entertainment and cultural event targeting a number of children from marginalized groups. During the event, gifts were distributed to draw a smile on the faces of the targeted children.

Additionally, a workshop was organized for mothers of children to talk about how to maintain personal hygiene, improve healthy habits, and cope with psychological stress.

In Marib, the safe space in Al-Jufaina camp carried out recreational activities targeting 120 displaced children in the camp. A variety of gifts and prizes were distributed to deprived children in order to bring joy to their hearts.

The safe space in Al-Matar area also held various activities which included competitions for children, games, sports, and the distribution of gifts, and others that were appreciated by the children and praised by their mothers.

Further, the safe space in Al-Matar area hosted an awareness session for a number of mothers, focusing on the International Children's Day.

The event included a set of important tips and guidelines, such as the importance of raising children, instilling moral values and positive behaviors in their daily lives, and how it is essential to establish a positive relationship with children through communication and good listening, as well as encouraging them to express their needs and feelings for a better life.
