Two awareness sessions conducted for the IDPs on identification documents and family planning
The HUMAN ACCESS’s Community Center for the IDPs, in Marib Governorate, funded by the UNHCR, organized two awareness sessions for the IDPs in Sailat Al-Ramliah Camp.
The first session, which targeted 10 IDPs, was to raise legal awareness on identification documents, the official procedures to obtain them, and how to get new ones instead of the lost or damaged IDs. The sessions aimed at raising awareness of IDPs on the importance of documents and their purposes.
The session coincided with a field visit by rescue team to Sailat Al-Ramliah , which was afflicted by the flow of torrential rains that Yemen is witnessing currently, which resulted in destruction or loss of IDPs’ identification documents.
The second session was a community awareness about the importance of family planning and childbearing, in the presence of 10 beneficiary women.
