The Economic Empowerment Programme for Women in the areas of hairdressing and beautification was finalized in Wadi Hadramout.
In partnership with the International Islamic Charity Organization-Kuwait, HUMAN ACCESS in Wadi Hadramout concluded the Economic Empowerment Programme for Yemeni Women in the fields of hairdressing and beautification.
The programme, which targeted 17 trainee women and continued for a month, included the hairdressing and beautification techniques, haircutting, dying and styling, body cleaning as well as the bridal makeup, and the method of ironing clothes.
The programme contributed to equipping the trainees with the skill set fit for the labor market, providing them with knowledge and skills in the field of hairdressing and beautification, and developing their capabilities required to have new sources of income so as to improve their social and living condition.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of economic empowerment kits for 17 women and girls, who benefited from this programme.
At the ceremony, Mr. Muhammad Khamis Al-Tamimi, Deputy Director-General of the Office of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadramout Al-Wadi and Al-Sahra'a, commended the humanitarian efforts undertaken by HUMAN ACCESS in supporting women and girls through economic empowerment, training, and capacity-building programmes.
