HUMAN ACCESS in Hadhramaut Governorate held various events in the cities of Mukalla and Seiyun in celebration of International Literacy Day, which falls on September 8 of each year. The events were organized in the presence of the female beneficiaries of the “Literacy programme.
The activities included various awareness lectures, group iftars (breakfasting), cultural and recreational competitions, and other activities. This came as part of the “Protection and Livelihood Support Project”-"Safe Space for Women and Girls", implemented by HUMAN ACCESS Office in Hadramawt, and funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
