With generous funding from the Kuwaiti Zakat House, HUMAN ACCESS distributed sacrificial meat to 40,800 people in the governorates of Taiz, Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Hodeida, Hajjah, and Marib.

This initiative was part of the 1446 AH (2025) Sacrificial Meat Project, which intends to alleviate the burdens on the most vulnerable and impoverished groups in Yemen and enable them to celebrate Eid al-Adha with dignity and joy.

In a press statement, Secretary General of HUMAN ACCESS, Dr. Abdulwase Alwasai, said that the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government and people, are known for their love of charitable work and have a prominent role in alleviating the suffering of Yemenis.

As Dr. Alwasai stated, the sacrificial meat distributed has helped to revive hope in beneficiaries living in extremely challenging conditions and has brought joy and happiness to them during the Eid al-Adha days, given the significant increase in meat prices and the inability of most Yemeni families to purchase sacrifice animals.
