Partnering with UNHCR, legal awareness sessions for women and girls in Marib were held
In close partnership with the UNHCR, HUMAN ACCESS’s Community Center for IDPs in Marib Governorate held several legal awareness sessions targeting a number of IDP women and girls.
Three legal awareness sessions were on “Identity documents”:
These sessions that were attended by some IDP women and girls from Al-Suwayda’a and Al-Mujma’ neighborhoods, and Hosh Al-Jama’a Camp, addressed the issue of identification documents mainly their importance, types, and how to be obtained. Besides, legal cognizance and the activities of the Community Center for IDPs and the services it provides to women and girls were introduced and presented during the sessions.
A legal awareness session about nurseries was also held:
A number of trainee women in Marib city were trained on nursery services, its conditions, and related general provisions. In addition, the trainees were introduced to the Center's activities and services provided to IDPs.
legal awareness session on marital rights and duties was carried out:
This session that was served to a number of IDP women in the Al-Zera’ah neighborhood, presented marriage issues, divorce, its provisions, and the consequences thereof in accordance with the Personal Status Law.
